Our Professional Scrum Master™ course gives you the necessary skills to lead agile teams to successful deliveries. With an instructor guiding you through theory, practical application and exercises, you will learn about Scrum theory, practices, rules and values. Once you have completed the course, you will have the chance to take a Professional Scrum Master™ level I (PSM I) certification test at Scrum.org.
Who is this course for?
A Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of a Scrum team in its work methods, product development and deliveries. This requires knowledge of Scrum theory, practices, rules and values.
This course is aimed at anyone wanting to become a certified Professional Scrum Master. We provide a thorough understanding of the Scrum framework by covering its core elements and use concrete examples to illustrate its application.
After the course
After completing the course, you will have:
• Knowledge for completing Professional Scrum Master™ I certification
• Knowledge about Scrum (Roles, Activities and Artifacts)
• Knowledge about what it means to be a Scrum Master
Structure and content
The course content is based on the recommendations at Scrum.org. All course material is in English. The course is spread over two full days, combines theory, practical exercises and examples and involves all participants. We normally have two course instructors so that we can actively support several teams during the exercises.
We also offer mock certification at the end of the course in preparation for the real certification process.
The course fee includes one attempt at certification. After the course, you will have the opportunity to be assessed for Professional Scrum Master™ level I (PSM I) certification at Scrum.org.
Each participant receives a password to access scrum.org, where the certification assessment is conducted. Successful certification requires that you answer at least 85% of the questions correctly.
